United Nations, Aug. 31 people net, UN today held high level meeting, officially launched against trafficking population of global action plan, to prevent trafficking population, protection from prosecution trafficking victims, and assist the population and to strengthen the crimes against trafficking population of four main aspects of partnership, and puts forward concrete should take action.

U.n. secretary-general ban ki-moon said at the meeting is contemporary, trafficking population slavery.A great number of victims so enslavement and sexual exploitation, most of them women and children.He pointed out that, ten years ago, the United Nations convention against organized crime and punishment and prevention, ban on population of trafficking and protocol in eliminating the global misdeeds has taken some steps, but these are far from enough.

Ban ki-moon said: “to end all forms of transportation, we must adopt the population is a common, global coordination and consistent, global action plan just can help us achieve this point. It with the United Nations population problem of trafficking based protocol and strengthen the protocol, it will mobilize and criminal justice system, the folk society, the private sector, the media and the care of this problem all citizens, according to the power of the plan. But, trafficking population will become more widespread and the development of United Nations security policy and part of the solution.”

Ban says, this action plan is the most important part of the population is one of the victims of trafficking for a UN voluntary trust fund to help governments, government and non-governmental organizations provide protection and support for the victims.He encouraged each fund donations and urged the international community parties jointly implementing partnerships, global action plan to eliminate the trafficking of population.
